Make you own TPG IPTV SET TOP box

HOWTO add TPG IPTV feature to your network media player. This should work on most of network media player, tested RealTek 1073, 1283 based player. Recommend player: eGreat R6A is the smallest player (RealTek 1073+ no fan design). Alternatively HiMedia HD300B with fan can take 3.5 inch HDD.

Anyway, steps:
1. Update your player with a hacked firmware, so that file system is writable, meaning change you made will survive the restart
2. upload "udpxy" to /opt/bin, and add the execute privilege, command: chmod +x udpxy
3. edit /usr/local/etc/rcS and add following line at the end: /opt/bin/udpxy -p 8554 &
4. add the actual TPG IPTV playlist, I have compiled the list, just upload attached file and replace existing podCast.rss under folder /usr/local/bin/scripts/
5. Restart (only to run the udpxy, not required if you run it manually), go to Internet Media Service, locate CNN (which point to podCast.rss), see the IPTV channel list and play, you may need to press PAUSE ... RESUME few times to get a stable picture.
6. Sit down and ENJOY
